When we began our deer farming operations, we realized that to produce world-class offspring, we must first begin with the mothers. It has been documented that what a buck has on his head comes 60% from his mother's genetic make-up. It is for that reason we began purchasing the best does available.
Here are some of our does' sires:
Boomer is perhaps the most famous breeder buck of all time siring such sons as "Little Boomer" and several others on the farm of Gene Flees and Gen Wheeler in Wisconsin who scored well over 200". Boomer is the direct sire to one of our does, grandsire to several others. We are breeding this year with one of his grandsons named "Oolagah". The fawn crop of 2007 will be the year of the "Baby Boomers.
Scar (below left) is from the farm of David McQuaig and scores 208 in this picture of him at 4 1/2. He is the sire to our doe Honey deer and grandsire to several others.
