Thank you for visiting the DSK Ranch website. We began deer farming in 1996 here on our farm nestled in the woods of eastern Oklahoma. The ranch consists of 400 acres with over 35 acres fenced for 11 separate deer pens. DSK employs a state-of-the-art working and handling facility.
The DSK Ranch was the first whitetail deer farm in Oklahoma to collect semen from one of its breeder bucks and the first to perform artificial insemination on a whitetail doe in the state.
 Dave King, owner, has become one of the leaders in the whitetail deer industry. In 2001, he was elected to the Board of the North American Deer Farmers' Association as well as joining the Board of the Cervid Livestock Foundation in 2002. His expertise is sought after by other deer farmers across the country.
Giving a good product for good value has been the goal for Dave King and the DSK Ranch. As in any business, customer satisfaction is of the up most importance. "I want people that do business with me to come away feeling great," states Dave King. Showing this, the DSK Ranch is one of the few whitetail deer farms in the country to give written guarantees on its products and services.
The DSK ranch specializes in top of the line genetics backed by DNA. "You get what you pay for" hasn't always applied to the deer industry. DNA testing is changing this and the DSK Ranch is proud to be one of the first in the country to offer any type of DNA guarantee.
 Fawns are special members of the DSK family. Each spring preparations are made to insure each new birth is a special occasion. As in years past, each doe fawn is pulled for bottle-feeding along with a selected group of buck fawns. Immediately after birthing, each fawn is tagged and a DNA sample is taken. The fawns are bottle-fed around the clock - close attention to insure their well-being and attachment to their new human friends.
We welcome all deer farmers and potential deer farmers to stop by the ranch (located a short distance off I-40) for a tour and to talk deer. We ask that everyone call ahead for directions.
